ПІДГОТОВКА ДО СПРИЙНЯТТЯ ІНОЗЕМНОГО МОВЛЕННЯ ►► Greeting and Aim Good morning, everyone. Today we shall speak about allergies. The word "Allergies" is known to many people. It's a pity many children and grown ups have different kinds of allergies. So we must know what to do with allergies and how to help other people. ►► Warm up Lexical game "Last Word Chain" Один учень говорить перше речення, інший має придумати своє речення з останнім словом першого речення. PI makes up a sentence on the topic "Health". P2 continues the phrase-chain making up his own sentence contain the last word of the previous sentence and so on. PI. We should take care of our health. P2. Health depends on our way of life. P3. Life is in our hands. P4. Hands must be clean. P5. Clean your teeth regularly. P6. Regularly go in for sports (and so on). Tell your classmate how allergy can affect people's life. Talk about the things you have experienced by yourself or have heard/ read about. Use the words and word combinations from the text about allergies. Examples: PI. My brother's allergies have been getting better. They aren't as bad as they used to be. He knows the things he has to avoid and what to do about the allergies. If he doesn't take his tablets, he can be short of breath. (Учні пишуть свої повідомлення, потім озвучують.) ►► Relaxation O.K. Хвороби та їх лікування Цілі: практичні: вдосконалення навичок аудіювання, усного мовлення; формувати мовні (введення ПО) навички; розвивальні: розвивати різні види пам'яті; сприяти формуванню вмінь і навичок аудіювання і мовлення; виховна: виховувати потребу в здобуванні знань, бажання висловити свою думку; освітня: розширювати знання учнів про різні хвороби і способи лікування. Тип уроку: вдосконалення навичок аудіювання, мовлення. Обладнання: підручник, WB, грамзапис. Хід уроку І. ПІДГОТОВКА ДО СПРИЙНЯТТЯ ІНОЗЕМНОГО МОВЛЕННЯ ►► Greeting and Aim Good morning everyone. How are you? Today we are going to work on the topic "Health", "Illnesses and Treatments". During the lesson you should be able to listen to the text, to speak on the topic, to communicate with each other. ►► Warm Up Lexical game Мовна розминка з метою активізації вивченої лексики в усних мовних висловлюваннях. Use the words in the box to write as many sentences as possible. Read the sentences you've made up aloud inside your groups.
A representative from each group will reproduce the sentence, the best in his opinion in his group. II. ОСНОВНА ЧАСТИНА УРОКУ ►► Check on Homework At the previous lesson we spoke about allergies. We must always remember about such diseases that make the lives of some people problematic. Am I right? PI. You are quite right. I am lucky that among my relatives there are no people who suffer from allergies. But my friend's mother has allergy to pollen. She can't go out without tablets especially in spring. I am sorry for her. P2.1 can add that my aunt is allergic to dust mites. It is always a problem to clean the house. It is good to have modern vacuum cleaner, that helps avoid the influence of dust. P3. ... P4.... ►► Listening Практикування в аудіюванні тексту "Alternative ways of medical treatment" (Tapescript on p. 223). Pre-Listening Activities I am going to read a short story. At the end of the lesson you should be able to reproduce it. I propose to play a listening game "What's coming next?" But before listening to the text, let's pronounce the words from this text.

Glad to see you! At today's lesson we shall continue working with the new words and word-combinations on the topic "Illness and their Treatment". We shall make up recommendations to people in different life situations. By the end of the lesson you should be able to revise lexical and grammar material. ►► Warm up "Ask as many questions as you can" The teacher divides the class into groups of 4 pupils and gives a sentence. Each group asks questions on the teacher's sentence. Each correct question gets 1 point. The group with most points is the winner. Possible sentences: The girl has pressed a clean piece of cloth on her hand. The boy is calling an ambulance. Each pupil in a group chooses one of the texts (1-5) and reads it by him /herself. Ex. 4, p, 107. Then he tells the other members of his group what they should do to help a person in this situation. While-reading Activities Переглядове читання тексту з метою отримання загального уявлення про його зміст. Look through the texts and say what they are about. Читання тексту з метою максимально повного й точного розуміння всієї інформації, що міститься в ньому. While reading draw a plan. Post-Reading Activities Tell the other members of your group what they should do to help a person in this situation.
